Fruit Buns (D2)
Sultanas, currants, dried apricots, butter, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg make these buns great eating when knives, butter and toasters aren't convenient. Being sourdough with butter they keep beautifully. Excellent hiking, park, breakfast, and supper food they also go well with cheese and make delicious sweet crouton biscuits. Stash them in the freezer for surprise visitors.
